RV/MOTORHOME INSURANCE

A special RV policy can provide you with broader coverage than what you would receive on your basic auto policy. There are several reasons to consider separate policy for your recreational vehicle or motorhome:

  1. An auto insurance policy will not provide coverage for personal articles that you would normally leave in your RV (laptops, clothing, jewelry, camping gear).
  2. At a camp site, you may be liable for the area around your motorhome. If you were found negligible for someone’s injury, your car insurance policy would not cover you.
  3. If you RV is damaged while traveling, a RV insurance policy can provide coverage for a place to stay and alternative transportation. Your auto insurance policy will not cover these types of situations.

When you insure your RV on its own policy, you’ll know you have a wide range of coverage for a wide range of incidents that could happen.
